The Picture of the Faire
A big, round circus tent stands in the middle of a clearing at the end of one of the paths through the Oasis. But the bigtop is not a circus; it is a portal to the Faire.
The Faire is so named because it reminds me of the setting for a renaissance faire in New England. The Faire is a rough wooden dais nestled at the end of a meadow surrounded by rolling, wooded hills. It is a perfect place for a picnic, for working outdoors, and for staging new story ideas.
To help with the story-plays, a troupe of elves reside in the Faire. They are amazing crafters and love to build sets, characters, props, anything I need to help work out scenes and motivations.
On the website, the Faire is where I’ll put my posts about the creative projects I am working on.
